Animals are multicellular eukaryotic organisms that form the biological kingdom Animalia. With few exceptions, animals consume organic material, breathe oxygen, are able to move, can reproduce sexually, and grow from a hollow sphere of cells, the blastula, during embryonic development.
These paintings are based on collected photographs of insects, specifically flies, collected skulls and bone: I have a very large collection, dried fishes, and a lot of very strange things.
Well people find them strange, I just like the way they look, their fragility, their grace, for me there are beautiful.
My works has been selected twice to be hung at the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize at the south Australian museum, Adelaide.
