One Week of Making Art @ The Corridor Project with A-F Fulgence

One week of making art will open your senses to a unique combination of discovery and creativity.

Join us at The Corridor Project, a regional arts facility situated alongside the Bila Galari (Lachlan River) in the Central West of NSW. Here, restored shearers quarters and a repurposed historic woolshed provide safe, comfortable creative spaces for artists to work and be inspired by the surrounding granite-strewn hills, river systems, habitat corridors and stunning night skies.

We will paint and draw in the landscape, working en plein air and indoors, under the tutelage of A-F Fulgence, using a wide variety of techniques and mediums. This is a week of creativity designed to suit beginners and more advanced artists, using traditional drawing and painting media on paper, cardboard, and recycled materials. Be ready for an intensive, messy, challenging, rewarding and unforgettable experience. The results will often be spectacular, the process always fun!

Total cost per person is $1,400. This includes 6 nights in your own room (no ensuite), 5 days tuition, 5 days with lunch and dinner, and some materials.

Arrival is on Sunday 12 April from 2pm, leaving on the morning of Saturday 18 April 2026 (before 10am). Breakfast and materials for the workshop are not included.

Meet your host

A-F Fulgence is a highly talented landscape painter and BDAS tutor.

Her paintings demonstrate a mastery and deep understanding of the Australian landscape. She has been professionally exhibiting for the past 23 years and has won numerous prizes and commendations.

When she is not holed up in her studio, a converted dairy in Kangaroo Valley (NSW), A-F teaches art classes in Bowral, or leads artist expeditions to far-flung locations such as Wilcannia, Flinders Island and Morocco.
